General Protective Services | Child Welfare In-Home Services and State of Child Welfare

The Voices for Children General Protective Services default page has 4 sections for data from 2018  to 2013. Users should continue to scroll down the page – until the Newsletter Sign-Up in the website footer – to view all the data disaggregated by YEAR. The default for this page is In-Home Services. To see data on the State of Child Welfare, select the tab ABOVE the data visualization for a report. On either side there are page navigation arrows to advance the pages of the report.  View the document in fullscreen mode by clicking the “View in Fullscreen” Button in the center of the document.

[simple_tooltip content=’Filters – For the In-Home Services data, the data visualization is set to default with all COUNTY data. In order to specify the location, one should use the FILTER item. Select ONE OR  MORE  options in the drop-down menu. All FOUR visualizations have this option to filter. To CLEAR filtered selections, click the “Clear Filters” box. The data table will also be filtered. To SORT (A-Z) the data in the table, use the small arrow to the right of the column title.

Export Options – For the default page, there are FIVE ICONS above the table: Print, Excel, CSV. Copy, and PDF. These are export options. The data will be exported with user filters. For the complete data set, click the “clear filters” button. For the State of Child Welfare report, in Fullscreen Mode, download this report by selecting the download icon in the grey navigation pane. ‘] GET MORE TOOLS & INFO[/simple_tooltip]

Children who received services provided to both parents and children to address concerns related to child safety and well-being to enable the children to remain safely in their own home. This includes children whose families were screened-in and/or accepted for services.

Percentage values are based on the total number of children who received services across all 4 locations represented (Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties). Values are not filtered in the table.

This is a new reporting form and there were some inconsistencies in reporting among the counties. NR = County did not report in-home services for the full state fiscal year.
